About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Operations Technology team. This isn’t just another backend role—you’ll be building the critical backbone that connects all product lines across B2C, B2B, and internal systems. From payments and reconciliation to forecasting, risk management, and reporting, your work will directly shape how our business runs at scale.
You’ll get to design and own systems that cut across multiple domains, solve complex data and integration challenges, and bring efficiency and intelligence to our operations. This is a high-impact, hands-on engineering role where your code will directly power the company’s growth and stability.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and build core backend services that link across our B2C, B2B, and internal product lines.
- Design scalable APIs that connect multiple systems and enable seamless data and workflow integration.
- Develop smart reporting systems for reconciliation, forecasting, and risk analysis that help drive strategic decisions.
- Automate and optimize processes to replace manual work with reliable, scalable solutions.
- Work across tech stacks: bridge legacy systems with Java while building modern, scalable services in Python.
- Integrate with third-party platforms and APIs, ensuring flexibility and resilience in our ecosystem.
- Shape architecture by applying MVC principles, service-oriented design, and modern best practices.
- Own deployment and reliability by containerizing with Docker and maintaining Unix-based environments.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong backend focus.
- Proven ability to take ownership and deliver end-to-end technical solutions.
- Passion for technology and a desire to explore new tools and paradigms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments where business and technology meet.
- Core Skillsets
- Python – Strong hands-on experience in backend development and scripting.
- SQL – Advanced query writing for reporting and reconciliation use cases.
- Bash – Familiar with shell scripting for automation and server management.
- Unix/Linux – Strong knowledge of Unix systems for deployment and operations.
- Docker – Containerization and orchestration experience.
- HTML/CSS – Basic frontend skills for internal dashboards or tools.
- MVC Architecture – Solid understanding of structured code organization and application design.
Nice to Haves:
- Hands-on Java experience in backend development.
- Exposure to blockchain technologies or interest in distributed systems.
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or operations tooling.
- Familiarity with FastAPI or other modern Python frameworks.
